Warner Bros Orders 'The Hangover' Sequel

Just last week Paramount announced there are plans for a sequel to the Star Trek reboot coming out this summer. Following suit, Warner Bros. have ordered a sequel to Todd Phillips' The Hangover, a whole two months before its release. A growing trend maybe? To plan sequels before the original is released.

The Hangover is about 4 guys going to Vegas for a bachelors' party only to have the groom go missing the next day. Retracing they're steps to find him, they discover how wild the night before was.

Slated to be the comedy of the year, The Hangover is set for release June 5th in the USA. No word on when we'll see it here in Malaysia. Check out the trailer below.

'The Hangover' Teaser Trailer

Considering it being dubbed as 'the comedy of the year', The Hangover sure stayed pretty low-key. Up until now that is. Recently, Warner Bros. released a short teaser of the upcoming funny film directed by Todd Phillips who also did the Starsky & Hutch remake and Old School. All through the trailer, I laughed my butt off, regardless of how many times I watched it back. It is truly hilarious. Check out the trailer for yourself.



A couple of days before his wedding, Doug and three of his groomsmen head for Las Vegas to have a bachelor party. When Doug's three buddies wake up the next morning, they find themselves in a Caesar's Palace suite with a tiger in the bathroom and a baby in a closet, with no memory of the previous night's adventures. On top of that, Doug, the groom, is nowhere to be found. So the trio have to retrace their steps in hope of finding out what happened the night before and hopefully find Doug so they can get him back to his fiancee to get married.

The part with the police car and Mike Tyson were incredibly funny. One of the best teasers I've ever seen. Starring Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Heather Graham, Justin Bartha and Jeffrey Tambor, The Hangover hits US theaters June 5, 2009.
