Movie Poster: Due Date

22323_due-date-banner

Robert Downey Jr., Zach Galifianakis and Jamie Foxx. Can you get a better combo than that? I don’t think so. Along with director Todd Phillips who did last year’s smash summer comedy The Hangover (also starring Galifianakis), they bring this year’s supposed big comedy- Due Date.

The teaser trailer for the film was released about a month ago and the poster was just made available on the web a few days ago. I think it’s very Hangover-ish, don’t you? You can check out both the poster and trailer below.

High-strung father-to-be Peter Highman (Robert Downey Jr.) is forced to hitch a ride with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay (Zach Galifianakis) on a long road trip in order to make it to his new child's birth on time.

The trailer wasn’t incredibly funny. But it was okay because I’m a big fan of Zach Galifianakis. He has his moments. The due date on Due Date is November 4 in Malaysia.

Iron Man 2 Trailer #2

The first Iron Man 2 trailer premiered almost three months ago and it's about time the second one came out. Here it is on YouTube after it premiered on the Jimmy Kimmel show.

In this one, there a lot less humor but we see a lot more action with the suit. Whiplash gets more screen time in this trailer and we see Nick Fury once again. Also, we get to see more of James 'Rhodey' Rhodes/War Machine, played by Don Cheadle.

The end sequence of the trailer is the best part, so watch til the end! Enjoy!

Iron Man 2 hits our screens April 30, a whole week before the USA. Woohoo!

Iron Man 2 Trailer!

Yes, the trailer is out. But it's not on YouTube yet so we will have to make due with Trailer Addict for now. It loads slow but wait for it to load the whole way. It is so worth it. The trailer is epic. Check it out below.

UPDATE: I've got the YouTube trailer. In HD! Enjoy.

New Iron Man 2 Poster!

Only just two days ago, we got the first official poster for Iron Man 2, featuring War Machine. Now in the 2nd poster, we get an unmasked Tony Stark in the Iron Man suit. Awesome. Check it out below.

First Official Iron Man 2 Teaser Poster featuring War Machine

Omg, omg, omg, omg. Check out the first teaser poster for next summer’s Iron Man 2. I don’t think anyone saw this coming but the poster very clearly features War Machine, James Rhodes’ (Don Cheadle) metal suited alter-ego. Check out the EPIC poster in all its glory below.

First Look at Tony Stark’s Mark IV Iron Man Suit

If you’re a big comic book fan or even if you just watched the Iron Man movie, then you should know that there were 3 versions of the suit- the one Stark built in a cave to bust out of it, the prototype suit and of course the final red and gold suit.

A little under a week ago, Jon Favreau Tweeted that they had wrapped production of Iron Man 2. Just about a day or two ago in San Diego at Comic-Con, a picture of all three suits including a brand new one on show at the Marvel booth, was taken. Check it out below.

Very cool eh? Let’s zoom in a little bit.

Here you can see that the Mark III suit (left) that was in the last film is similar to the Mark IV suit which we will see in the next film. Also, the Mark IV suit is much less bulky and looks sleeker than the Mark III. How will this look on RDJ? We’ll just have to wait until the movie gets release to find out. And that will be May 7 of next year.

Sherlock Holmes Character Posters

I thought the trailer for Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes was pretty amazing. Now the first posters for the movie just got released and they’re character posters. One featuring Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock Holmes and the other is of his trusty sidekick Dr. Watson, played by British actor, Jude Law. I think these posters are pretty cool. Check them out.

2009 MTV Movie Awards Winners

2009mtvmovieawards

The MTV Movie Awards must be one of the silliest and most pointless awards show there is, but as always, it’s fun to watch and fun to talk about. A show in which Twilight is nominated seven times and win five of those, cannot be taken seriously. But, again, it’s good fun.

So the awards show wasn’t shown live in Malaysia. How many of you caught it live on the Internet though? I couldn’t because I was in college. I guess I’ll just wait to watch the awards show on June 12 when they air it here in Malaysia on MTV. Here is the complete list of nominees and winners of the recent 2009 MTV Movie Awards. So what do you think? Are you outraged by the fact that Twilight beat Slumdog for Best Movie? Astonished that Zac Efron pipped Robert Downey Jr. for Best Male? Pissed that Kristen Stewart was thought to be better than Kate Winslet? Annoyed that Ashley Tisdale was more of a breakthrough female than Freida Pinto? Devastated that Robert Pattinson was voted as Breakthrough Male ahead of Dev Patel? Gobsmacked that the Twilight fight was better than The Dark Knight fight? Or even the Pineapple Express fight? Well if you are all of the above, tell me about it.

Wow. Most of the people who voted for these winners suck.

Sherlock Holmes Trailer Looks Amazing!

sherlockholmes5

The first official trailer for Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes has been released by Warner Bros. And it looks awesome! The Sir Arthur Conan Doyle classic definitely has a Pirates-esque feel to it and Robert Downey Jr., alongside Jude Law who plays a very different Dr. Watson, is great. Rachel McAdams plays Irene Adler, Sherlock’s love interest. The trailer is something else. Watch it below.

Sherlock Holmes hits American theaters Christmas Day.

First Official Iron Man 2 Photo

ironman2x-large

Earlier this week, director Jon Favreau said on Twitter that he just approved the first photo for release. And on Friday, this photo was published on USA Today.

Notice out all the different suits in the background. How could you not, right?

Along with this picture, USA Today also talked to Favreau and this is some of what he said.

"How many superheroes are open about their true identities? We wanted to play with that idea. But it obviously has consequences — in his relationships, on the team. There are a lot of areas we can explore."

Iron Man 2 hits theaters next summer.
