Set in the 1930s, Public Enemies is a film adaptation from Bryan Burrough's book "Public Enemies: America's Greatest Crime Wave and the Birth of the FBI, 1933-34." The story unfolds during America's Great Depression Era with the focus of FBI agent, Melvin Purvis trying to stop notorious American gangsters like John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson and Pretty Boy Floyd. I know a lot of girls love Johnny Depp but I must say I'm a big fan of his also. He is just a fantastic actor and I'm pretty sure he'll do a great job as one of America's most infamous gangsters, John Dillinger. And I'm also a fan of gangster movies. So this looks pretty good for me. I'm not too sure how many people will like this movie because its not a movie that would appeal to many. But if you like old school bank heists, shoot-outs and getaways, then this the movie you should catch. This is definitely not a movie for kids. Instead, take your kids or younger sibling or whatever, to go see Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs.

Derek Charles (Elba) is a successful asset manager, happily married and has a son. When a temporary assistant is assigned to him, she is incredibly attracted to him and tries to get him at what ever cost.

According to the IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes scores, if you're thinking of watching this, you might actually be better off watching Public Enemies. Obsessed looks like the kind of movie you can watch at home after dinner or something like that. Don't waste your money on this.

2009 Summer Blockbusters Part 3

I have been bringing you the posters and trailers as well as a few details to some of this summer's hottest movies. In this post, we continue with part 3 of the list of the most anticipated summer movies of this year. Only five movies, so enjoy the posters and trailers.

I absolutely loved the first one. Second one, not so much.
Not too sure about this one. Hasn't been much buzz about it.
The original cast returns to voice the characters, with the inclusion of Simon Pegg.

I've always loved 1930's American gangster movies. If you do too, you'll love this one, starring a certain Johnny Depp.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

What can I say about Harry Potter? Everybody loves him.
Half-Blood Prince was my 2nd most favorite book from the series,
Deathly Hallows being my favorite. And I think a lot of you out there would agree.
This movie looks darker, more ominous and definitely more epic than ever before.

The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3

Denzel Washington and John Travolta team up
in this remake of the 1974 classic by the same name.
One thing though, what is it with Denzel and hostage movies?

The Hangover

This could very easily be the funniest movie of the year.

2nd Public Enemies Trailer

Hot off the Internet comes the 2nd trailer to one of this year's most anticipated movies- Michael Mann's Public Enemies, starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale. The trailer might not be great quality but what the hell, its still awesome nonetheless. Here it is!

‘Public Enemies’ Poster, Photos and Trailer

Can’t get enough of Christian Bale? Well I have more of him for you. This guy is really having a good run of late. If only he could control his mouth and temper. A year after the mega-blockbuster The Dark Knight where Bale played the Batman, he has two more summer blockbusters lined up this year. The first of which is Terminator Salvation, which I talked about yesterday, the day before and on Monday. The second flick starring Bale this year is Public Enemies, directed by Michael Mann and in which he is joined by Marion Cotillard as well as Johnny Depp as the notorious bank-robber, John Dillinger.

This is definitely high up in my list of most anticipated movies of the year. Another film I can hardly wait for. Check out the photos (some we have seen before, some we have not), the new poster and the brand spankin’ new trailer for Public Enemies, set for release 1 July 2009.
